About the Author

Olive J. Kelley is a queer author from the United States who works as a Library Assistant. They consider themself a 'jack-of-all-genres' and their first love was sci-fi, but if you asked them to pick one to write for the rest of their life, they'd probably say contemporary romance. They care very much about a lot of things, but most especially Pokémon, Marvel, Sherlock Holmes, medical procedurals, the Saw films, and Star Wars. They currently live in the lower peninsula of Michigan with their wife, dog, and four cats.

Some more fun facts in no particular order:

• They wrote their first novel when they were 14. It was a fantasy romance, and it was very bad. 

• They attended one of the most infamous con disasters of all time, DashCon, and they met their wife because of a Les Miserables cosplay meet-up (sort of)

• They taught themself to crochet during the pandemic and made a very ugly cow who now has a place of honor on their bookshelf 

For anyone writing identity-focused round-ups: Olive is a plus-size non-binary lesbian who identifies with the femme label and is married to a butch transmasc lesbian. They are autistic and have chronic pain. They use they/them pronouns.
